XM
There is no evidence of a counterfeit existing from XM (yet), but be aware: Because these releases are out of print, and still quite populair there is the risk of another scamming method known to be used on eBay in the past with these items:
- An auction (with or without the "buy now" option) is started. When the item ends (usually with quite an amount of money) the "owner" waits until the payment is done takes his/her money and closes his/her eBay account...
XM exists in two editions, an American and a European edition.
- XM 1.1: the version sold in the USA. This is a limited edition of 1500 copies. On the back it states:
US management: Andy Leff - Acme music
Transmission 1.1 (1,500 copies) - XM 1.2: the version sold in the Europe. This is a limited edition of 1000 copies. On the back it states:
European management: Richard Allen
Transmission 1.2 (1,000 copies)
Both with the same artwork with the exception of the details mentioned on the back.
