The counterfeit is easy to recognize as it has the title printed on the front of the booklet. The original single disc edition comes with a sticker on the jewelcase, no text printed on the cover.
Also recognizable by the fact that the quality of the printing on the disc is less sharp then printing on original discs.
A special edition exists containing a 40 page booklet and a dvd containing the album in 5.1 surround. This is packaged in a deluxe cardboard sleeve.
(Both editions exist on 2 different labels: Atlantic for the USA and Roadrunner for the rest of the world, pictures are from the Roadrunner single disc edition)
